A market first for Elecolit® 3063 with UV and UV-LED hardening
Panacol, Europe’s only supplier of UV and UV-LED technology in association with Dr. Honle AG, presents another market first: Elecolit® 3063. This advanced, conductive anisotropic adhesive is so far the only one which can be hardened by both UV and UV-LED.

Conductable adhesives in the electronic field

As per 1st July 2006 the EU Directive ROHS (Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment) prohibits the use of lead in all new products in the electronics field. The directive applies to all electronics companies in the European Union as well as those that import into the EU.
This problem can be solved when electrically conductible adhesives are used. If individual points need to be soldered selectively, this can be performed using the hot iron soldering technique.
